A few interesting tidbits about who we are
Dr. Bill Denton has served in church ministry for more than 50 years. During that time, he has served as preaching minister, radio speaker, educator, short-term missionary, and is a licensed clinical pastoral counselor. Today, he serves as preaching minister for the Rodenberg Church of Christ in Biloxi, Mississippi. He also serves as an elder for the congregation. CrossTies Ministry as existed since 1996, and started as a resource for preachers and teachers. Over the years, it has shifted to an emphasis toward non-ministry involved Christians, and non- Christians who are seeking to understand the Christian faith and biblical teachings.Our Ministry Philosophy
• We believe in the great commission passages that state the mission of believers to the world. • We believe that the Bible is our best text to understand God, man, and God’s purpose for life. • We believe we’re all in this together, that faith is a community effort, and we do better together. • We believe we all continue to grow and learn, that following Jesus is a life-long journey. • We believe our purpose is to create thoughtful conversations, not arguments or debates. • We believe our audience is important to God, and it’s our responsibility to love them deeply.
